Did you ever notice that Google hasn’t updated their public service ads in over 2 years, pretty much since Adsense started? I mean, they still all mention Hurricane Katrina, so they’ve been displaying the same ad for over two years now.
I can understand that they still want to give to the Katrina fund foundation but the text that goes with it is very outdated, displaying something like “Help rushing aides for Hurricane Katrina”. Well it’s been over two years, I don’t think the aides are rushing anymore.
The other very outdated saying is: “Help support health clinics providing critical aid to evacuees”. I don’t think there are any evacuees anymore, in fact I think that they are just beginning the long process of rebuilding in the area.
I wonder what the new Google PSA ads will be when they roll around. Maybe the impeach Bush fund?
