Maryland is the Richest Place in the U.S.

Looks like I should be moving to Maryland. According to this year’s stats from the Census Bureau, Maryland is now the wealthiest state in the country with a median household income of $65,000 dollars a year. I make that amount of money from my websites in just a few months, so I think I’ll buy a house and some land in Maryland if it turns out to be a nice place. I was surprised however to see that California only ranked as the 8th richest state in the country. When comparing salaries, it seems that the super-rich and famous Hollywood stars like Paris Hilton and Beckham can’t compete with the number of poor people in the state to bring their rank up.

That’s really sad when we live at a time where we’re lucky enough to make a living just by owning a blog.
