One of my secrets behind the success of my websites is that odd cents here and there really add up. Let’s say for example you had a site that came up first for it’s keyword. If that keyword is money, or cars, you’d be set for life. But there’s so much competition for those words it makes it very very difficult and expensive to climb to even the first top ten displayed. Now say for example you had a website about some random and non-competitive keyword such as “glowsticks”. Because of the little competition and within a short period of time you can make that keyword show up in first place for searches. Ads for the keyword would be only a couple cents per click, but if you’re in the top search it’s likely that hundreds of people are viewing your site everyday (and clicking!). So for example let’s say you get about $0.14 cents per click for a keyword. If you’re first in the search results and 500 people see you in one day, and if you were to estimate that 1/4 of those people would click you’re ad, you would be making a nice $17.50 a day from just that one website. $17.50 might not seem like much at first, but here’s the trick: make more websites! If you want to make $100 dollars a month, make four more of those websites. If you want to make $5,000 dollars a month, then make about 280 more and it’s yours.
This isn’t the only way I make my money, but it’s a good stepping stone for those who are new to the scene. Just remember when looking for keywords that cents add up!
